Hellooooooo Singapore! :D Let's start with the Natalie Dee comics I had missed.
I don't get this one ._. I just like the bean-bear. Or bear-bean. Or whatever. Mr Bean's bear :D
Yes I can't knit either. Hallelujah.
Love this one! :D
And (as usual) the Google homepage is nicely decorated. Can't believe this is like the last post of the year D:
Okay photo time! :D From the past week.
The flight to Bangkok, after our um... lunch/afternoon snack? It's mine, then Han Wei's, then Mummy's. We were sitting right in front of the cabin. Daddy was across the aisle.
And the iPad makes its timely appearance.
First dinner that night at a restaurant in Sheraton at Hua Hin. I love the cutlery they're so cool! :D
The orchid on the towel on the bathtub in the toilet in the hotel room. The next few days, they didn't bother to put orchids on the towels on the bathtub in the toilet in the hotel room anymore D: So mean.
I found this kinda funny because "douche" is like an expletive xD
The tilted picture frame in the toilet. Evidence of my high-C self kicking in.
Some random beach. The first beach we visited in a very long line of uncountable beaches we visited during the trip.
And he pulls out his toys and begins to play...
Kayaking! :D I went with Daddy first, then Daddy and Han Wei and now it's Daddy and Mummy.
Han Wei attempts to scale up the kayak. Thank god it didn't capsize.
(amazingly) success! :D
Cheese :D Poor me was all alone ):
On the way back to the hotel from the beach, I saw a rabbit, a dragon lying down and a crab all in one cloud. Too lazy to draw out heh :D
Our (Han Wei and I) drying rack. It was my ingenious idea to put the towel below so the water wouldn't be dripping everywhere -thank you thank you-
Their slurpees are epicly big yet epicly cheap. This one I drank was 22oz, but less than $2 O:
The next morning, I woke up half-asleep and zombie-walked to the toilet without my glasses and accidentally stepped onto a millipede which crunched under my bedroom slipper. And here's the bloodstain it left behind T.T
And later, Han Wei picked it up with the bedroom service list (the stuff they sell in the room) and it left a blood trail all over the paper.
Speaking of the bedroom service list, Han Wei and I found some interesting things they sell. (Hint: Look at last two lines) Which sparked several interesting conversations in the family leading to lots of laughter.
Train passing by on the tracks crossing with the road! :D
Daddy's sad abandoned ATV at the side of the road. That black blur on the left is Han Wei. I had a perfect picture of it until he whomped into the picture with his iPhone also trying to get a shot of Daddy's sad abandoned ATV.
A restaurant on a cliff by the sea called La Mer which Mummy kept pronuncing as "Le Mar" and Han Wei kept insisting as "La Merde" ("merde" is "shit" in French).
Close up on the Doodle Jump game Han Wei is super pro at.
Doodle in space suit! :D
Random beach by a random hotel. The drinks came in different colours and it was just too colourful to resist! :D My watermelon juice is right at the right. I realise on this trip I drank coconut and watermelon juice very often ._. I think there were a few days I drank more than one coconut in a day ._.
There are actually really teeny crabs in the sand but ah well.
Han Wei's strawberry crepe. (is it pronounced "creep" or "crap"?)
The -no offense- pathetic clock tower through the second storey Starbucks window.
The very vandalised pictures in the second storey of Starbucks.
Green tea cream frappuccino tall with whipped cream! :D -heart heart-
At another beach where I refused to touch the water and sat on the mat all the time we were there. Mummy and I had ice cream and I made mine into PacMan! :D -waves arms around-
See another watermelon juice in an Italian restaurant called La Grappa.
Some lobster soup? It was Han Wei's, not mine.
Han Wei's Idon'tknowwhatitis main course.
One main course Mummy and I shared! Actually we shared two main courses: Wagyu beef and some tenderloin. This is the Wagyu beef -salivates-
Daddy's blackoctopusthingy main course.
The desert of someweirdIforgotitsname, creme brulée and tiramisu with whipped cream. WHIPPED CREAM WHIPPED CREAM WHIPPED CREAM!!!!!!!!!!!! :D -goes on WHIPPED CREAM!!!!!!!!! :D high-
Daddy and the deserts. omg alliteration! O:
Daddy through the base of the artfully cracked cup.
Dinner that night. Ooh sexy drink cup~~ Han Wei later complained because the waitress apparently hadn't put tissue on the butt, so Daddy just tore all the tissue off the poor cup.
The 4378929487th coconut. I thought it looked very beach-bum-ish and cool so I took a picture. I think it's because it's so..... round and it has that cool blue stick thingy.
Moving from Sheraton Hua Hin to Grand Hyatt in Bangkok! Poor Ox is stuffed in my bag.
Han Wei eating the bread stick at the Hyatt lounge.
One of the best spaghetti bolognese I have ever eaten at a shopping mall in Bangkok where we shopped for (literally) the entire day, from late morning to 5+ or 6+ :D
View from the hotel room of the burned down shopping centre (from the May riots -reminded of Hock Lee Bus Riots and Singapore Chinese Middle School Students' Riots and Anti-NS Riots-) which they are rebuilding.
I bought a book (The Angel's Game) from the shopping centre and after taking it out from the plastic wrapping, the plastic wrapping looked so cool~! (Han Wei was watching The Hangover behind because there was really nothing else to watch but HBO)
tada! :D
Plane back to Singapore! Han Wei inspects the airplane-security-sheet-thingy. As usual -.-
The TV is irritating in Cathay Pacific's business class (economy class was full by the time Daddy booked the seats O: ) because you have to swing it up from the casing.
But they have cool tables and cool glasses :D
Lunch! Lamb loin with veggies :D
Han Wei and I were watching Phineas and Ferb because somehow CSI wasn't working. And so happens they were showing The Chronicles of Meap, which is one of Han Wei's favourite Phineas and Ferb episodes. After the first time we watched it, he's been going around screaming (instead of "MOBBY!!!!!!!!!") "MEAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" instead or it's just an incessant really annoying "meap. meap. meap."
The random survey they asked me to do ._.
Home sweet home! :D
And now it's less than an hour to 2011! :D Goodbye 2010! (and my beloved December holidays sigh)
