#920 but I'm holding you closer than most 'cause you are my heaven
Sunday 30 December 2012

This is one of the coolest things I've ever seen.

A child's skull before losing baby teeth.

#919 it's like wishing for rain as I stand in the desert
Saturday 29 December 2012

Now. Back to the topic of creepy nursery rhymes with sinister underlying messages.

I found another one. It isn't as subtle as Mary, Mary, Quite Contrary or Ring Around The Rosie, but it's still disturbing all the same. Disturbing in the sense that it should not be recited to young children unless you want them to grow up to be disillusioned serial killers.

Oranges and Lemons
Gay go up and gay go down,
To ring the bells of London town.
Oranges and lemons,
Say the bells of St. Clements.
Bull's eyes and targets,
Say the bells of St. Margaret's.
Brickbats and tiles,
Say the bells of St. Giles'.
Halfpence and farthings,
Say the bells of St. Martin's.
Pancakes and fritters,
Say the bells of St. Peter's.
Two sticks and an apple,
Say the bells of Whitechapel.
Pokers and tongs,
Say the bells of St. John's.
Kettles and pans,
Say the bells of St. Ann's.
Old Father Baldplate,
Say the slow bells of Aldgate.
You owe me ten shillings,
Say the bells of St. Helen's.
When will you pay me?
Say the bells of Old Bailey.
When I grow rich,
Say the bells of Stepney.
I do not know,
Says the great bell of Bow.
Here comes a candle to light you to bed,
Here comes a chopper to chop off your head.
Chop chop chop chop
The last man's dead!
And from good ole Wikipedia...
Various theories have been advanced to account for the rhyme, including: that it deals with child sacrifice; that it describes public executions; that it describes Henry VIII's marital difficulties.

#918 a drop in the ocean, a change in the weather

Ahah! Finally found the gif that best describes me during the holidays.

In fact this can also apply to me throughout the year.

#917 and I don't want to hear the sound, of losing what I never found
Friday 28 December 2012

I have started the good habit of collecting gifs that can express my... expressions. So that when I need gifs to express my expressions, I won't need to go floundering all about Tumblr/ Photobucket/ Google like a fish on Mars.

For example.

There are the bitchfaces/ eye rolls that question the opposite party's level of sanity. I can use these gifs more often than you deem possible.

Then there are those that apply to my life. Apart from the aforementioned section.

Then there are those that are too weird/ epic/ ridiculous to leave out.

Then there are my favourites.

And finally, there is the king of gifs that I can say to my brother at least ten times every single day.

#916 so when do I give up what I've been wishing for

Look at the centre for thirty seconds.

Then watch Van Gogh's Starry Night come to life.

(:

#915 never know why it's coming down, down, down
Wednesday 26 December 2012

Christmas is already over, but I just had to.

Note to self: new insult which can be used in everyday life.

#914 I thought I could fly, so why did I drown?

Story of my life.

#913 so why should I try, I know I'm gonna fall down
Tuesday 25 December 2012

And introducing the most badass scene in the history of badass scenes.

This is very much literally, Death personified.

Coolest. Horseman. Ever.

#912 I shot for the sky, I'm stuck on the ground
