Okay this is bad. Blocks are horrendous. And even though they're starting tomorrow and I still have to read Bio text book, I shall blog :D

With pictures! Because apparently I've missed out too many days to talk about every single on of them. Anyways most of them were fml-ish, so. Including today, but I'm trying not to let that affect what I write.

I shall not panic for Chinese and Bio tomorrow even though I didn't even touch anything Chinese for revision and I haven't finished Bio.

I shall fail BT2 and still hold my head up high because I won't let something as trivial as BT2 (as compared to my life) take over me.

The weekends just passed by in this blur, and tomorrow's Monday again. Which is like, a week left to BT2, and I've barely started revising or whatsoever. Plus we have Biotech this week, which I obviously haven't started memorising our script. And there's Petit Test 3 tomorrow. And Physics quiz on Tuesday. Heck it.

Just now, I put up this schedule, which made me a tee bit better about my obviously very 临时抱佛脚 attitude. Actually come to think about it, this is like one of the first times (okay, the first time) I'm doing such last minute revision. Never thought I'd actually reach this step :/

But whatever I get this time, I just feel very... oh well-ish. Okay so the worst the school can do is to expel me for getting F9 for everything. Which does not translate to the end of my life. But I will miss everyone in class, though.

And there are no words to describe how excited I am for the year end holidays. Shanghai, and especially France. Though, on a side note, I don't see how I can go to Shanghai or France if I get expelled, but whatever. And before going to France, I have made up my mind to go bookshopping or something like that, for super super super thick books that I can bring to France and not bore myself out. And Lord of the Rings and Kafka on the Shore are already on my list (:

My room felt sort of empty last night.

It has been three million decades since I last posted.

But anyway.

They left today.

It's kinda startling how rapidly three weeks just flew past before us. And there I was thinking we had a lot of time together. It seemed like just yesterday when we were wandering around aimlessly in the airport, trying to find some flower/sweet shop to get them gifts as welcome presents.

And this all only means that we're halfway through our exchange programme. And the other half is gonna pass as quickly as this half just passed. But before that we have to go through 4 months of separation )':

We were chionging from the Bishan MRT just now, and I realised that it was...

3:01 pm!! :D

I was like "It is 3:01 pm. It is 3:01 pm." repetitively to Rachel. At first she thought I was just freaking out because we were supposed to meet Chong An et al at the Helix Bridge at 3 pm (in the end we were late by an hour -.-). Then she realised that it was 3:01 pm.

You have no idea how fascinated we all were over the mimosas. French people included. We were waiting for Gao Ge and Suzie outside the Marina Bay MRT, where there is this patch of grass with loads of mimosas. At first Nina and Ninon and Marix were listening to music and Alice was randoming around. The three of us (me, Rachel and Zara) were stomping around on the mimosas. Then they realised what we were doing and asked what we were doing and were thus introduced to the childish activity of purposely touching the mimosas.

Nina was so cute! :D ♥ She knelt down to find anymore still-untouched mimosas (most had already been stomped out) and then when she found one, she'd poke it with her finger then when it closed she'd be like "oooh!! :D"

And then at the airport Nina and I hugged so many times that I lost count. And I kept rubbing/pinching Alice's cheek(s) saying that it was "la dernière fois" and she'd do the same back :D

Of course, there were people who cried. Nina and Alice did. And other people. I did too, but because Sandra smsed me saying that Mdm Suzana said I hadn't handed in my recent IH NHS assignment then I started freaking out on how I thought I hadn't done it because I had no recollection whatsoever about it.

And then after lots of freaking out and complaining, I realised on the way home that I'd already done it: pair work with Shi Ying =.=

Oh, so I haven't blogged in ages. Like really long. Which reminds me I haven't replied Janice in >3 weeks. Which is very unlike me.

But at least school ended early today at like 1.05 :D I totally flunked the Bio Photosynthesis quiz thingy. It was on light dependent and independent stages, SMTP syllabus. And according to Nanyang standards of 60%, I failed. I got 5/10 ._. And there's Chapter Test tomorrow! It's on Trig II, but I feel surprisingly calm :/ Meeting all of them (well okay actually maybe just most) later at 6 at MOELC Bishan. Come to think of it, it's the last "free night" we're gonna have together before they leave on Friday... And then we'll have to wait for another like 4 months before I see Nina again. Quote Regina: "It seems like yesterday we were waiting for them excitedly at the airport..."

So okay my last "proper" post was on the 15th, which was like before FOA. And 5 days ago OMG. My days so far were...

16 July - FOA.
17 July - Jiang, then Wild Wild Wet in the afternoon, then BBQ at Alicia's house in the evening.
And during the BBQ it was super epic, because we were roasting marshmallows, like you know, over the BBQ fire, then they happened to play Tik Tok so Nina started dancing with her BBQ stick over the fire then when she pulled out the stick her marshmallow was on flames. I was laughing like hell :D

But I successfully managed to roast 5 marshmallows!! :D -proud of self- And I gave one to Nina since she'd completely toasted her own one -snicker- Then I told Zara then both of us wanted to try burning a marshmallow too, but then they were out of marshmallows by then =.=

18 July - Mdm Heng Holiday, French in the afternoon, dinner at Ku Dé Ta.
19 July - School, CCA, French Ambassador's Residence in the evening.

And Mummy made me wear a dress + heels for that >0< Like the scarf, the dress, the heels, and the bag were all kindly borrowed from her ._. It is super hard walking in heels. I think I nearly fell like quite a few times. Basically we just stood around and chatted and the people working at the French Ambassador's Residence just walked around serving drinks and little pastry-like-thingies (some weren't pastries, like macaroones :DD and desserts at the end) on huge trays. I think I had three drinks: orange juice first, then this sour fizzy sparkling water thingy with a piece of lemon floating on top, then Coke Light :D

The French teachers of MOELC were there, and the French Ambassador to Singapore and all of us students and random French people. And we saw M. Quenot and totally spazzed out over his black spiky bag. You know, those that look like some kind of tortoise shell with spikes. We kept laughing over the sight of this more than 1.9m tall French guy carrying a.... black tortoise-shell like bag with spikes. Epic max. Even Nina had the OOOOO: face when I told her.

16 July.

After lunch and before the Matinee, we were playing a fool at the SAC. Tze She and Mignon plomped down onto the bean bags on the floor and we started throwing the random stuffed toys at them and burrying them. Actually, them not me. I was busy experimenting with the CamWow app thingy.

Okay then after our night performance and on our way to the Audi for Finale, Tze She and Mignon, being the crazy people they are, decided to frolick and skip across the quadrangle, and so they dragged me along. But I saw the full moon in the sky with the wispy clouds and all and I thought it was too beautiful so I tried to take a picture but it was super fail =.=

18 July.

At Ku Dé Ta. While waiting for our food I think. I'd just come from French, so I had my French dictionary and I felt bored, so there.

The soft-shell crab, which tasted... weird. I mean I'm not used to eating a crab whole like that, shell and all. Even though it's soft-shelled.

And my 200 and something dollars Japanese sirloin!! :D I thought it was gonna cost $210, but it ended up costing more than that =.= But it was the melt in your mouth kind, which was really... awesome.

20 July.

Our class pwns. I mean, just look at all those blazers! Currently we've 15 hung up there, but there's still more littered around the class. Mine is on the right set of windows, second from the left curtains.

I was gonna get ice cream, then I noticed the writing at the back of the plate. I mean, what does "Break and Chip Resistant" even mean?? So misleading! Does that mean if I drop the plate it won't break??
